First I was afraid
I was petrified
I couldn’t save the dalek race
No matter how I tried
I spent so many nights
All my mutations went wrong
Then I grew strong
And now our race can carry on
And we’ll go back
To outer space
And there won’t be a single thing
That we can’t learn to hate
And so I’ve changed my DNA
Gamma rays they were the key
If I’d known my dalek history
I’d know they’d turn and pick on me!
It’s me they fight, that they deplore
Can’t turn around now
They don’t want me anymore.
Aren’t I the one who’s tried to save their dalek lives?
But are they thankful?
They’d rather we all died!

It took all the strength I had
To try and walk again
Kept trying hard to save
The last four of my race again.
And I spent oh so many nights
Just feeling sorry for myself
I used to cry
Now I hold my mutant head up high.
But they see me,
Dangerously new,
So I’m a chained up little person
Whilst their guns are trained on you
And so you felt like dropping in
Can’t you just help me to be free?
If you’re the final time lord
Aren’t you just the same as me?
But we in fight, exterminate
They’ve bought me up here
Just to use me as their bait.
I’m so sincere, can’t you see it in my eye?
If I knew how to,
I swear I’d stand right here and cry!

Oh hell I’ve lost my temporal shift
There’s not hope to stay alive.
